Tom Rummel
Business Development Manager
As a sales rep for Unitex I enjoy the process of meeting new people and building relationships, which includes getting to know a prospect’s unique needs, preferences, and pain points to help them solve their healthcare laundry problems. This of course includes getting my customers the best rate to beat out the competition!
I take great pride in Unitex’s commitment to customer satisfaction and how our team consistently strives to exceed expectations in everything we do. I love answering questions and eagerly tap our team of experts for quick answers and customized solutions to meet a customer’s needs.
One of the biggest challenges I face as a sales rep is identifying and prioritizing the customers that are in most need of a healthcare laundry service and the benefits they can experience. I want to make sure it’s a good fit for both parties. The best advice I can give to a potential prospect looking for a new linen vendor is to ask what industries do they serve? Do they specialize in the healthcare industry, or do they also service the restaurant and automotive industry? A vendor evaluation should also consider the quality of customer service, as well as the delivery and pickup processes.
I pride myself in my communication skills and problem-solving ability. My goal is to find solutions to problems to improve people’s day to day work life. The Unitex team makes it easy to find solutions and communicate them quickly.
On a personal note, I grew up in Sherborn, MA, and currently live in Wrentham, MA. I’m a St. Lawrence University alum, so I’m a Massachusetts guy from start to finish!
