Newburgh, NY June 7, 2014- On June 7th, Unitex a regional healthcare laundry industry business with locations throughout the Northeast (including Newburgh), will support the 8th Annual Safe Harbors Off-Broadway 5K. The Safe Harbors Off-Broadway 5K will be run in conjunction with the inaugural NYCRUNS Newburgh Half Marathon and the route will feature the famous architecture of Newburgh’s historic district.
For many years, Unitex has supported various programs and community events associated with Safe Harbors of the Hudson, an organization that helps transforms lives and builds communities by celebrating the arts in the city of Newburgh. Unitex is also a major supporter of the community of Newburg. David Potack, Vice President of Unitex is the Chairman of the Greater Newburgh Partnership where his role is to help with the expansion and revitalization of the Port of Newburgh
